Healthy Snacks To Indulge In Between Meals

I love eating food. I’m always hungry. When I’m working out I’m thinking about wings and donuts and we all know that’s not good when you’re on a fitness journey. I have come up with some healthy snacks that you can indulge while on the go, in between meals.

Fruits:

Any times of fruits are always a good choice. You can go to your local grocery store and get fruit cups or fruit salads. For me this is good because at the cafe at my job I opt for this rather than a bag of chips or my favorite candy.

  1. Berries
  2. Bananas
  3. Grapes
  4. Strawberries
  5. Oranges
  6. Kiwi
  7. Apples

Fresh Veggies

All green is a go! We all love veggies right ?!

  1. Celery
  2. Broccoli
  3. Asparagus
  4. Carrots
  5. Kale
  6. Spinach

Protein is essential. I was one person who just did not want to try protein shakes, they didn’t seem good to me. My trainer recommended I try the GNC Whey protein. Honey, its expensive. I add water and yogurt or frozen fruit along with 1 cup of protein and I blend it. This would be my post workout supplement. You can get the whey protein in different flavors as well.

Dry Snacks

These can snacks can be found anywhere like Target, Walmart, local gas station, CVS, Rite Aid. They can come in 1 serving size packages, and small cups.

  1. Almonds
  2. Pretzels
  3. Cashews
  4. Walnuts
  5. Trail mix
  6. Pecans
  7. Peanuts
  8. Granola

Dips

The following foods you can add with your fresh veggies or even your favorite fruit.
