Hello October | Monday Motivation

Fall is here. Hello October. 2 months left of 2018 and you should make it count. It’s the first of the month, and it’s Monday, which means a new week to execute your goals.

How often do you go through feeling bad for yourself? Feeling discouraged because you are not where you set out to be at this moment in your life? Has 2018 been your year? Do you feel like you’ve messed up this year and need a reset button?

Every day is a new day, a new start, a clean slate to do what you didn’t do the day before. You get 24 hours to feel bad about yourself, cry it out, drink til you pass out, shut the world out, and then you have to boss up and get shit done.

If you find yourself complaining quite too often, singing the same sorry tune, just in a rut, stop and think how you can the outcome. If you have the power to change the situation you’re complaining about, just do it. No one else will. No one else is in control of your destiny. Be selfish, do things for yourself and don’t feel bad about it.

There are 91 days until January 1st, make these days count. Remember slow and steady wins. No need to rush through anything. Slow progress is better than no progress. Look at your list of goals that you made at the beginning of the year and look at where you are at now, you still have time.

Everyone gets discouraged, we all lose inspiration, some days we aren’t motivated. You have to find the strength to keep going, look at the bigger picture. Where you are now is temporary, it’s preparing you for what’s to come. You only get different results when you do things differently.
