Latest Hair Product Haul | Beauty

I know I said I don’t need anymore hair products. I know I said I would do a no-buy for a month , but here we are. The past two weeks there has been a sale on hair products from Target to Walgreen’s.

What I find fascinating is that the sales are on certain product lines and only in select markets. My mom and I are both natural and we love a good sale and its safe to say we can admit to being product junkies.

My mom has been natural for 8+ years and myself only 4 years. Neither one of us uses shampoo often so the majority of our products consist of conditioners, gels, and oils. We will travel to different stores just to see what products are on sale.

Last week I stopped in Target,  because I seen LipsticknCurls Snapchat a gel from Shea Moisture. I was in need of a gel as I had run out of my Eco-Styler Gel. It just so happened they had a sale Buy One Get One 25% off. Which Target sales typically are items 20% off and we know with the prices of hair products that isn’t much but this was a good deal.

The Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Grow Conditioning Shine Gel by Shea Moisture, 10.99. I have the shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and hair masque from this line. All of the products have slip so you know that means a little goes a long way. Its sulfate Free and great for naturals that color their hair.

I used the gel on my recent wash n go it didn’t leave my hair crunchy but I don’t think it mixed well with the OGX Curling Hair butter + the curling style milk. I will have to try this product strictly with other Shea moisture items. My wash n go was defined but needed more moisture.

Walgreen’s has a sale currently going on with Buy One Get One 50% off on all Shea Moisture products and Cantu Shea Butter products. Just this week they began the BOGO Free sale on select brands. I have been wanting to try Renpuré Professional but they’re a bit on the expensive side, no better time than during a sale to try new items.

I seen BeautybyLee on YouTube a couple of years ago use these products for her wash n go routine. I’ve been wanting to try the products then but the way my budget was set up, I could wait.

My mom purchased items for us both to try out. The Coconut Mint Cleansing Conditioner, Natural coconut Aroma Oil, Nourishing Conditioner, and the Whipped Cream Leave-In Conditioner. She also bought the Live Clean Fresh Water Shampoo and the Live Clean Argan Oil Conditioner.

Stay tuned for a first impression demo and review on my YouTube channel. If you tried any of these products let me know how you like them.
