For today’s Mane Monday post, I wanted to share how I remove the Goddess Faux locs and my latest wash n go routine. I have had the Goddess Faux locs for about a month. My stylist used the twist method when installing the faux locs and it made the take down so easy and quick. With the wash n go I am using all Jane Carter Solution Curls to Go products.
Okay y’all I need some hand claps. I have edited and filmed two videos within three days. This video I recorded over a week ago and I finally got around to editing and sharing on my Youtube channel. The video is under 10 minutes. I go through step by step how I remove the goddess locs, I coat my hair with Shea Moisture condition known as the pre-poo method before the wash. I then Shampoo and Condition my hair with Shea Moisture Kukui Nut & Grapeseed Oils Damage Rehab line. Obviously my hair isn’t damaged but when you remove a protective style you want to make sure your shampoo and conditioner have all the essential oils to repair and restore your strands.
After the wash I deep condition for twenty minutes with the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen Grow & Restore Treatment Masque.
If you have been following my natural hair journey you know that I use all Shea Moisture hair products. I swear by their products, they have holy grail products for every hair texture. I have been using them since the beginning of my hair journey. When I say this Curls to Go line is it, it is it! I got the items while they were on sale a month or so ago at Rite Aid for 50% off. The products smell go, the slip is amazing, and it doesn’t leave any white residue, it has my curls popping and less shrinkage.
