Top 5 Favorite Hair Conditioners | Natural Hair

Summer is the season for Wash ‘n Go and protective hair styles. It is also the season to make sure your hair is moisturized in hot weather throughout the entire day to avoid breakage. It’s been awhile since I’ve shared my favorite products. Below you’ll find my favorite 5 conditioners that I use all the time and will re-purchase when the product runs out. Conditioners are my most used hair products of all time during my natural hair journey, if you have been following the blog, you’ll know I only shampoo once a month.

Garnier Whole Blends Smoothing Conditioner.  This product was given to me as a gift , everyone knows I love hair products. I haven’t used Garnier products since I’ve worn extensions some years ago. This product makes my hair soft and clean , the consistency is thick but a little goes a long way.

Renpuré Coconut Whipped Cream Leave-In Conditioner.  I did a review on my Youtube Channel, which you say check out in the right column of the blog. At first this hair care line rubbed me the wrong way  because the oil made my hair flake and I didn’t feel like the rest of the products enhanced my natural curl pattern. I learned with trial and error it was the products I used along with the conditioner that didn’t agree with each other. I purchased this at Walgreens during a BOGO sale. I love that the bottle is a pump, it makes it easier to use the product.

Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Renewal System Conditioner.  We know I swear by Shea Moisture Hair care line. This line was the first and only hair products I used for a while when I did my big chop. I also have the hair masque from this specific line and I love it. The smell is amazing , it has a good slip to the consistency. I typically use this if I have a lot of product build up or my hair is really dry.

Shea Moisture Argan Oil & Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Conditioner.  A lot of Shea Moisture Products are displayed with this new packaging. The tube, and I’m not sure if we’re getting less product for 11.99. the consistency is thick, I tend to use a lot of this during my wash day routine. This is my most recent go-to conditioner , it has everything you need to retain moisture.

OGX Beauty Shea Soft & Smooth Conditioner.  A couple of months ago I won a giveaway on twitter from OGX Beauty and they sent me a bag full of shampoo , conditioner, and moisturizers for all hair types. I am amazed with how good this smells, how soft it makes my hair, how much product I don’t have to use to get the job done. I also pair this with the Leave-in or Rinse-Out Hair Butter. This item should be available at your local drugstore. I use this product when I wash my hair and prepare for a twist out or two strand twist set.

If you’ve used some or all of the products listed please share your thoughts in the comments below. All products mentioned can be purchased at Walgreens, CVS, and Target.
