Wash N Go Wednesday: Straight to Curly Hair

Happy Hump Day. Today is wash day for me since I just took out a quick protective style of four cornrows having getting my hair blown out and trimmed. I wanted to share with you all how I revert back to my curls after the blow out.

Pictured above is my hair blown out after my 6 week trim just about two weeks ago. I wore my hair in that state for 3 days. I then styled my hair in a braid out which I didn’t like the results because I only used one product.

Pictured below is the protective style my mom did in my hair of 4 cornrows. The style lasted for about 4 days, y’all I know that’s bad but it seems since I became natural my hair just doesn’t like protective styles. Normally I can last two weeks but honey my scalp was irritated.

When I took my hair out, I styled my hair into two flat twists and left the back out.

Below is my hair after washing with Shea Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner followed by a deep condition with Shea  Moisture Intensive Hydration Mask.

Although my hair isnt damaged I used the products pictured above for my irritated scalp. The product lathers very well and it’s a thick consistency so a little goes a long way.

Being as though it is wash N go season. I only used two products after the wash and deep condition. The Renpuré Whipped Cream Leave In conditioner and the Renpuré Dry Oil.

Here are the result as always my curls always revert back. I don’t rush to wash my hair after it is blown out. I typically wait a week in a half before I wash my hair. I also put conditioner in my hair and let it in while I shower and then I proceed to wash my hair. That way it also moisture to my hair and the curls begin to revert back.

Hey love, thanks for reading I would love to know your thoughts on this post. Comment below!
